Acharya Periodontics and Dental Implants is in-network with the following insurance companies: Aetna, Anthem, Cigna DPPO Advantage, Delta Dental Premier and PPO, Metlife and United Healthcare. Our office will submit to all insurance companies (regardless if we are in or out of network), with the exception of Medicare and Medicaid, as a courtesy to our patients. Your estimated co-insurance will be collected towards services rendered on the day of service. Upon receipt of an insurance payment, any balance due will be billed to you.

If you have dental insurance and plan to use it towards your periodontal needs, we will file all the necessary forms and requested information to optimize your insurance reimbursement. Dealing with these companies can be difficult and time-consuming. We ask you to keep us informed of any change to your insurance. It is important that all information about you and your insurance is current.

Acharya Periodontics COVID-19 Update

The safety and well-being of our patients and staff is a top priority at Acharya Periodontics.
We are adhering to the guidelines set forth by both the CDC and The Virginia Department of Health as
we monitor developments related to Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19). We will continue to
implement strategies recommended by public health authorities.

As part of our own aseptic routine, we perform regular environmental cleaning that meets guidelines for
viral disinfection. We have also increased the frequency of cleanings and broad-spectrum disinfectants
used throughout the building. As usual, our patient areas are sanitized and sterilized as recommended
by the American Dental Association.

We will continue to monitor the situation, seek guidance and best practices from the appropriate health
authorities and share additional information as warranted.
